Rapo B.V. is a large propagator of strawberry and asparagus plants from Roosendaal, in the south of The Netherlands. Rapo B.V. ; is one of the shareholders of Fresh Forward breeding company together with 3 other industry leading strawberry plant propagators and the University of Wageningen. Rapo Quality plants supplies a wide range of varieties and grades, fresh and in frigo, including everbearers, A, A+, A++, B plants and waiting bed plants.

Our Solution
Moleda’s Plantsauna is an excellent choice for this sterilization task, because of its reliable and stable performance.
After the customer heard of our product from the Fresh Forward group, they were interested in using one in their own production of strawberry plants.
Unlike with the traditional CATT treatment, the customer saw that the root growth was way better after the treatment with the Plantsauna system. Also, the customer has the advantage of doing the sterilization treatment at his own location, without moving the plants to another location, thus being more flexible in his own planning.
They effectively treat about 3,5 million plants per year in the Plantsauna.
